What is the English test score required to Study in Australia?

In general- to study in Australia, you need to score a minimum of 6.5 overall in IELTS, with no band less than 6.0 for your postgraduate options. And when you apply for your undergraduate options, you need to score a minimum of 6.0 overall in IELTS. Your required level of English language proficiency will vary depending on your desired institution and level of study.

What English language tests are accepted in Australia?

How many bands are required for PR in Australia?

  • University of New South Wales

    The standard IELTS requirement for undergraduate and graduate programs is an overall score of 6.5 and at least 6.0 in each element. However, there are many exceptions.
